Basin and Lightbox Technical Information & Installation
You can view all of our colours on the website but they may look slightly different due to photography, lighting and other factors, or you can find your ideal Basin Lab colour by purchasing a Colour Swatch Box. Use it to see what will best suit your renovation/project.
It takes 14 days to manufacture our above-counter Basins and iLLUMi™ Lightbox.
It takes 21 days to manufacture our Halo Mirrors and Column pedestal Basins.
Basins And Pedestals
A waste is not supplied with one of our standard basins or pedestal basins.
Our Basins are made from Oxyform™, a unique low-VOC resin composition with a micro-environmental footprint and unrivalled durability.

We recommend a 700mm – 800mm high vanity.
No, overflows are not included in any of our basins.
Lightboxes And Mirrors
You do have the option of having your electrician install a motion sensor where the basin will light up with movement, filling the room with a calming soft glow as you enter and turning your basin into an automatic night light.
Always ask your electrician for their opinion.
The iLLUMi™ electrical system is 24 Volts (Low Voltage). You simply have your electrician connect it to a transformer, we recommend, IP67 – 30Watt – dimmable – DC – to suit AS/NZS 60598.1 and AS/NZ 60598.2.1, electrician can wire it to a light switch or movement sensor, allowing operation from there.

Our Lightbox is designed for vanity tops 20mm or thicker, we can supply a collar for thinner tops, leave us a note at the checkout page if your vanity is less than 20mm thick (order notes can be found at the bottom of the checkout page).
The iLLUMi™ Lightbox is only compatible with The Basin Lab’s basins, it is not made to compatible with anything else.
Shipping, Returns, Warranties
We do ship internationally. Countries we ship to include Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States (US). We do plan on expanding to more countries soon. If you want our bathware but there is no option to ship to your country or location, don’t hesitate to contact us, we will see what we can do.
Our refund and returns policy lasts for 30 days and after 30 days we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and be in the original packaging. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
Products exempt from being returned include any custom coloured products, mirrors as they are custom-made to order, and any product that is not in our Standard range.

Our Basins have a 10-year structural warranty, Lightbox and mirrors have a 1 year (12 months) warranty. The links to all of our warranties are below.
